Kim Kardashian-West shared the first photo of her son, Saint West, since he was born.
Kim posted a picture to Instagram on Jan. 2 showing Saint’s tiny hand tightly holding big sister North West’s finger. “She said, ‘He’s my best friend’,” Kardashian captioned the photo.
Kim and Kayne welcomed their baby boy on Dec. 5 in Los Angeles. The baby is their second child. The couple got married in May 2014. Their first child North was born in June 2013.
The reality TV star gave birth to Saint nearly three weeks ahead of her due date. Kim said that being pregnant was the worst experience of her life. She added that her new year’s resolution is to lose the 23-odd kilograms she gained while pregnant with Saint, according to Sydney Morning Herald.
“To be honest, I’m not really into New Year’s resolutions. I’ve done them before, but I don’t believe in them,” Kardashian said on her website. “For some people, they are a good jumping off point, but for me, I like to set goals throughout the year. I think setting little goals every month is productive and long-term goals (like saving money or learning a new language) are important, too. But I don’t need a new calendar year to do that,” she further added.
“In the next coming months I’d obviously like to shed the baby weight. That’s the big one to accomplish first! I’d also like to finish our home next year, so we’re working hard to make decisions and meet deadlines so it gets done. I’d like to do some really cool photo shoots for my website,” she continued.
“I [also] want to do a couple more fun weekend trips with my Twitter followers that I haven’t met yet … [and] I want to plan a West family vacation — it’s a project in itself to find the time! Oh, I also want to learn how to do the splits LOL!”
ABC pointed that Saint was born to Kim after a difficult pregnancy. She had disclosed in November that the baby was breech and the would-be-mum had to undergo a procedure was described as “more painful than childbirth” to avoid a C-section and move him into the proper position to deliver.
