"People should come out to see 'Flaming Idiots' because we have an exceptional theater program. Lots of students have gotten accepted into great theater schools and it's going to be an awful lot of fun," Carreiro said.

Student Bressie, who has been studying theater for ten years will be playing one of the main characters Phil.

Bressie said, "We can all relate to the want of success because everyone can identify with that. It's Phil's idea that gets them into a lot of trouble," Bressie said.

He added, "My character Phil is a genius is his own mind. Right in the middle of chaos, he tries to get it together.

I love his character because he's high -comedy versus Carol, his counterpart. He's high strung, on edge, quicker on his feet and the smarter of the two main characters," Bressie said.

Andrew Pitt who plays Waiter Eugene, describes his character as "A waiter trying to become an actor. He's not very far off from me. We have the same characteristics of how we look at things. This play is very eclectic, easy to follow and hilarious."

Kyle Rubal, a two-year theater student at LBCC, plays the sheriff, a minor character. He said, "The cast and crew are awesome and it's a very funny play."

General admission is $10 and $7 for senior citizens, students and colleagues. The play begins at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sundays in the LAC Auditorium. The box office opens 40 minutes prior. More information is available by calling 938-4563 or logging on to tdf.lbcc.edu
