What a busy week!
The LBCC softball team suffered a tough loss on Wednesday as their ace pitcher, Sadie Barton held off the Antelope Valley College Marauders for 7 and 1/3 innings before the Viking defense imploded, giving up three runs.
The international tie break rule seemed to throw Sadie off.
I have been covering the men's basketball team and by doing so have developed what I think is a good reporter/player relationship with star shooting guard, sophomore Matt Richard.

I began writing for the Viking at the beginning of the Fall '07 semester and I have had the opportunity to cover a wide array of topics ranging from sports and arts to campus and even global politics.

On Dec. 20th, I was awarded the N.B. "Mac" McKean Memorial Scholarship at my journalism Christmas celebration for my outstanding efforts in the fall semester of 2007.
Editor in chief Michael Brown and a good friend of mine presented the award.

One of my fellow staff writers told me that this has been an ongoing battle for Ms.
It's time the school fixed the bathroom stalls' doors in the P building.
The story I'm about to tell happens a little too often.
I went in the women's bathroom some time before 1 pm, and there were three other people waiting in front of the three bathroom stalls.
